the sleeping house

all is calm, all is bright:)
I can never sleep in the day. well, more that i just dont like to, but i love it when my whole family is sleeping in the day time. It just makes the house so peaceful and warm. Especially days like today when everyone is here together for Christmas(today) and it's just so happy and beautiful. It's so good to finally be home, have my own room, be able to be who i want, say what i want, and do what i want freely. We all need to get rid of the bullies in our lives, and i'm so glad i finally did. It's like shaking loose a heavy wool sweater that was slowly but surely suffocating you. I feel like running and skipping and shouting off roof tops! or atleast, porches, from windows, tops of cars, etc...
It's seriously so amazing to be home with all my cozy family and remember why we have Christmas. this year we couldnt get as much as other past years, but instead of being a little bummed, i'm actually really happy about it. It made just being together and remembering Christ a lot better:) Though i still got lots of fun presents that i'm soo excited about! my favorites are: new tan messenger bag, 500 days of summer, and this beautifully fat notebook with a map of the world on the cover. I can't wait to start writing in it tonight! To anyone who might stumble across this little blog i like to call Darling, i hope you have an absolutely fabulous Christmas and remember that it's Christmas in the heart that puts Christmas in the air. love!

I wish soon was sooner....

I feel such a mess. An excited, stressed, mad, uneasy, anxious mess. I'm moving home and away from this frozen wasteland called ogden in exactly 11 days, and that makes me sooooo excited and anxious. Also, christmas is coming and the goose is getting fat, and that makes me happy too. But today was such a stressful day. First, the story of my fashion class. I missed last wednesday's class because i went home for thanksgiving. Then when i went on monday, i sat in the classroom for ten minutes waiting for everyone to show up. When i finally convinced myself i was too annoyed to wait anymore, i got up and left. Today the same thing happened only i saw a girl in my class, so i asked her what was up, and she said that we're done with class, and that they had taken the exam that was supposed to be taken today, last wednesday, thanksgiving eve. WHAT?! yeah...so i was kinda ticked. She told me to go talk to Ranee, the department secretary to get and take my exam. So i went and got my test which everyone else had done TOGETHER with books in class, and took it by myself. With no book. Needless to say, i was quite frustrated. Then my stupid light in my car came on, screaming at me to change the oil, then i accidentally went over in my checking account and was awarded a lovely $20 fee. I even had cash! i was just freezing cuz i live in the arctic, so i tried to put my gas in before i froze in place! UGGHHH!!! All i wanted to do was go home and write while watching White Christmas and sucking on a candy cane. But i couldnt even do that because for the time being i have no home. I'm like a freaking gypsy! And not the cool kind with lots of bells and whistles and scarves and anklets and huge earrings! phew, atleast i have my good pal Bloggolas. He always listens:). I just have to keep reminding myself that soon i'll be home. Soon i'll be safe and sound, and rid of all this freezing and stupid ogden drama. Soon. i wish soon was sooner....

i want to go home. not to my apartment.

k, it's not even really MY apartment. When i'm there it feels as if i shouldn't be. I start to feel anxious and the only thing i can think about is throwing all my stuff together into my giant suitcase, running away, and never looking back. Patience. If you could buy patience in a bottle, i would. But i guess peppermint icecream will have to be the substitite. After all, i only have two weeks. TWO WEEKS! I can't wait to be home again. It's interesting how i thought i would feel so free when i moved from home, and came up to ogden to go to weber state. But honestly, i feel more trapped now than i ever have. I saw a quote the other day that said simply, "Go where you're CELEBRATED, not tolerated." That place is st. george. Where i can do what i want, go where i want to go, and not feel lame for being happy about the little things i fall in love with a million times a day. (my new cobra ring, dandylions sticking out of the snow, a nice lady that asked me if i had false eyelashes on,- i didnt -, people who give up their seat on the shuttle, and pushy salesmen). So many things that make me love them. It pains me when people don't notice these, and just pass right by them.
So, to further delay going back to my apartment for the night, it's time to write a little... OOO!! today i read colormekatie's latest blog. I was laughing so hard here in the computer lab. I literally had to cover my mouth to muffle the noise, and keep the stare's to a minimum. The entry shows pictures and a video from the latest improv everywhere mission about a guy looking for his friends at a knick's game. I'm back, i'm excited, and i'm ready to rock and roll!!

so, i need to use this blog again. It's much easier, and you can customize it so much better! I can make it look however i want it to look:) so, if you didn't notice, today is thanksgiving. I'm up in my own room while my family is downstairs lying all over the floor sleeping off the massive amounts of turkey we all just consumed. But, as you know me, i dont sleep. Hardly even at night. It's not that i CAN'T sleep, i just dont really like to. There's just too much going on in the world, and i dont want to miss anything! speaking of which, my family's waking up! yay let the real fun start!! more later:)

i almost forgot to say HAPPY JUNE 1ST!!!! it now officially feels like summer, and i am so excited!! yay for summer! yay for sun and swimming and working and popsicles and shorts and hot dogs and no school and traveling, and concerts, and movies, and doing whatever we all freaking want!! i love summer!!!

ok sorry about the sldfjshf thing yesterday. i tried to copy and paste a picture, but it didnt work. oh well. so anyway, i just watched laughing evil baby on youtube, and everyone needs to watch that video. it is the cutest funniest thing i've ever seen!! seriously! also the little asian boy singing hey jude is really cute too. :)

one of my favorite things about summer: FRIENDS!! i love my friends, and its so fun when they all come back to st. george for the summer. Seriously, all my friends are freaking awesome, and i'm so glad to have them in my life. Tear. ok sorry for the centimental crap. i usually make fun of people who say cheese like that. but oh well...:)

p.s. i know this is kind of a lame post, but whatever. i dont care. and you can go rub a monkey's tummy if you actually do care.

summer festivities

k soo many freaking awesome things to do this summer. Seriously i cant wait.. in the words of mbj, i'm pooieing in my pants i'm so antsy. so heres the list of things for this summer. they are in order of best to still awesome.::

1. three simple words: BOYS LIKE GIRLS!!! I get to see them AGAIN in salt lake on july 7th!!!! Its going to be so sick i cant even begin to describe my excitement.. insane.

2. WARPED TOUR!! sooo many bands i love will be there. SO MANY! here is a small sampling of just a few bands i will get to see: ALL TIME LOW!-(love love love them),forever the sickest kids, cash cash, cartel, the devil wears prada, hit the lights, 3oh!3, and so many more. those are just the ones i'm MOST excited for. except for i hate it when bands are involved with warped tour, but arent coming to the date i'm going to! saosin, and tv/tv for example. siigghh. oh well, i just saw saosin like a month ago, so i suppose i'll survive. barely.

3. ALL TIME LOW's newest album Nothing Personal comes out on july 7th!! i'll have to pick it up on my way to BLG!!

4. d.c. with my fam. i'm not really a big fan of d.c., but we'll be there on the 4th of july, so it will be neato to see the fireworks. they are supposed to be cool i hear. also i like airplanes! i havnt been on one since i was five, so that will be fun:) i call steph has to sit in the isle seat and get hit in the elbow with the snack cart! hahaha!

5. Ever heard of parachute? they are coming to the sunbowl on july 24th with secondhand serenade and singlefile. i'm not a huge secondhand fan, and i've never heard of singlefile, but parachute is reeallly good. i found them on a nivea lotion commercial:)

6. weber.

yay for internet!

i finally have the internet at my house! i was using the computer lab before and that just sucks. so it's very good to be able to have the comfort of my own home and have a computer to use. i'm actually writing on stephys laptop right now though. i can not wait to buy my own except im poor as a church mouse right now, so that will have to wait for a while. oh well. i'll survive. if i must i must.
